Chris writes for magazines, young adults, and film. He recently had a story on This American Life. His work regularly appears in Mental_Floss magazine, and he writes a daily blog at mentalfloss.com. His fiction has appeared in independent literary magazines including The Left Leg, and he wrote the screenplay for indie science fiction film Project Omicron, released in 1999. He has worked as an audio engineer with a broad range of musicians and has produced five albums. He has also taught songwriting and audio production.
Chris's background includes extensive experience developing online collaboration software, designing social media websites, and managing software projects. He is now the lead Cocoa Touch programmer and software architect for Night & Day. In his spare time, Chris writes novels for teen readers. Chris graduated Cum Laude from Florida State University, with a BS in Library and Information Studies. He has also studied writing at the University of Virginia.
