Before joining Night & Day Studios, Abby worked as the Coordinator of Expansion Exhibits on the multi-year expansion project at the Brooklyn Children's Museum. As a museum professional, Abby has experience in exhibition coordination and project management, exhibition and interactive design and development, research and educational program material development. Projects include: Tucson Origins Heritage Park (City of Tucson); Neighborhood Nature, World Brooklyn, Collections Central, Totally Tots, and Energy Adventure (Brooklyn Children's Museum); Beyond Lewis & Clark: The Army Explores the West (traveling exhibition); Our Expanding Universe: Celebrating a Century of Carnegie Science (Carnegie Institution of Washington, D.C.); Wood: An American Tradition (National Building Museum); This Land Is Your Land: The Life and Legacy of Woody Guthrie (Smithsonian Institution); Amistad: A True Story of Freedom (CHS); and Creating American Jews (NMAJH). Her background also includes work in New York film and television as a production coordinator on television commercials and documentaries. As the properties master at the San Diego Repertory Theatre she designed and created theatre props for several west coast and world premiere productions. She graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a BA in Visual Arts with a concentration in installation art.
